Starter Two: fresh tuna salad
After a energetic fitness workout, or a tiring session on the weights, most athletes look for a protein load to assist in muscle repair and development. At the same time they are looking for a low fat food, with tissue repair properties and high vitamin and mineral substitution value. Tuna fish fills all these criteria. One cup of solid or flaked tuna from water contains on average:
- 177% of daily selenium
- 100% of daily niacin need
- 77% of daily vitamin B12
- 26% of daily vitamin B6
- 11 calories from saturated fat
- no sugars
The main course: Baked wild Salmon Surprise
The season for the different varieties of salmon ranges from early summer to late autumn, nevertheless, the increased production of farm raised salmon has made it available fresh in local supermarkets all year round. The nutritional content of salmon is often limited to omega-3 fatty acids. While omega-3 fats are important to your health, salmon has a great deal more to offer us in the form of vitamins A, B, C, D, E, niacin, potassium, zinc, iron, and calcium. Eating a serving of salmon is at times more beneficial than taking a multi-vitamin pill.

Some interesting facts about Dessert
When should you eat your dessert?
Eat First Your Dessert : Why is this a Good Idea ?
Whether it's strawberry mascarpone cake or panna cotta with red fruit sauce and cream , most desserts have a fair quantity of fat. Too much fat isn't good for you, but a little fat with a meal serves as a useful function - it helps you absorb fat-soluble vitamin and nutrients better in regards to your health. Fat-soluble vitamins, including vitamin A, D, E, and K, can't do their work if they aren't adequately absorbed in the digestive tract. Other nutrients such as the carotenoids in green, leafy vegetables and potatoes also need fat for best absorption.
