After a delay in getting the club together due to summer holidays and a change of members. The passing away of our head hostess mother a private distressing event, to which I personally send my sincere condolences too.

Our second meeting the Club has grown to 8 members now. A beautiful warm summer evening
Again a grand opening I was late so missed the Champaign. However, this did not stop me from enjoying the evening, the portion where a lot smaller after each course you felt you could eat more.
We are mainly a vegetarian meal only club. I must say this makes it better and lighter on the stomach.
A combination of wonderful delicious meals, accompanied by some mind boggling conversation. Topics over the food and the best places to go on Holiday plus, desires on migrating to warmer climates as Spain.
How food has been prepared and the best method to do this. Handy tips on how to improve the presentation.
One member was unable to attend so we made photo’s especially for her so that she could see what she missed.

Cook Drink and Talk April 2
Hobby activates
The cook drink and talk club started on 2 April 2010 with 7 enthusiastic ladies.
Who love getting together to eat drink and talk about food and enriching topic?
The evening began with champion at a magnificent gourmet laid table.
As this was our first club meeting, we had a lot to discuss. Our club members a club name, with a prize for the name chosen, and the 7 course meal we had to consume.
The ready prepared small portion meals, allocated to each member. This was given to us by the head organizer Thea. She keeps a list with our names rotating whose turner it is to make the appetizer, starter, main course, dessert and a small sweet or snack with the tea or coffee.
The evening was a great success with conversation covering. The best place to buy ingredients how to improve the taste of your food and whether one has used canned, frozen or fresh ingredients Even getting down to the basics of making your own mayonnaise.
We all eat drank and talked, to our heart delight that the next day our appetite was limited, I personally could not eat until two days later.
